Information handled
with purpose.

Prestige Watch uses personal information to provide its website, customer accounts and private client services. For privacy enquiries and requests, contact support@prestigewatch.com.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, contact details, account credentials and profile information you provide, including a profile photograph if you upload one.
  • Purchases and payments: billing and delivery information, approved pickup location, orders, private offers, deposits, balances, transaction references, payment status and refund records.
  • Communication: enquiries, private messages, sourcing and sell/trade requests, emails, photographs and documents you submit.
  • Preferences and activity: saved watches, wishlists, review submissions, and activity recorded by the account or storefront features you use.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, request and security logs, session identifiers and information used to protect the site from misuse.

We receive information directly from you, from your use of the website, and from providers confirming transactions, deliveries or service requests. Do not upload information about another person unless you have a lawful reason to provide it.

Why we use it

We use information to respond to enquiries, administer accounts, prepare and accept offers, process orders and payments, reconcile deposits and balances, arrange delivery, assist with returns and warranty enquiries, publish submitted reviews and keep appropriate business records. We also use relevant information to prevent fraud and abuse, investigate problems and improve the reliability of the service.

Where a law requires a legal basis for processing, the relevant basis depends on the purpose: performing a contract or taking steps you request before a contract; meeting legal obligations; our legitimate interests in security, customer service, record keeping and operating the business, subject to your rights; or consent where required. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing.

Payment information

Checkout payments are processed by the payment service selected for your transaction, including Square where available. The provider handles payment credentials under its own privacy terms. Prestige Watch receives information needed to administer the transaction, such as its reference, status and limited payment-method details. Saved payment methods are represented through the provider’s payment-token facilities. Never send full card numbers, security codes or account passwords through email or chat.

Who receives information

We share the information reasonably needed for a service with relevant payment providers, hosting and technical providers, email delivery services, approved carriers, insurers, and professional advisers. A sourcing, inspection, trade or warranty request may require relevant details to be shared with an appropriate specialist or manufacturer. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect against unlawful activity, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Our customer review pages display the review content and public display name associated with a submitted review. Private correspondence, billing details and payment information are not intended for publication. If you choose to contact us through an external service, that service’s own privacy terms also apply.

Cloudflare Turnstile

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on protected forms to help prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare processes browser and device signals for this security purpose. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. A security check does not subscribe you to marketing.

Cookies and browser storage

WordPress, WooCommerce and the site’s customer features use cookies or browser storage for functions such as sign-in, shopping sessions, cart contents, saved preferences and wishlists. Security and payment services may use their own necessary technologies when you interact with them. Some data lasts for a browser session; other preferences or account sessions may remain between visits until they expire or are cleared.

You can review and delete cookies or local storage through your browser. Blocking necessary storage can prevent sign-in, payment or saved features from working. External payment and security providers describe their technologies in their own notices. Contact us for help identifying a particular cookie or request. Where optional advertising or analytics processing requires additional notice, consent or an opt-out, those requirements apply separately; this policy is not itself a consent mechanism.

Messages and marketing choices

We send service communications relevant to your account or transaction, including enquiry responses, private offers, payment reminders, order updates and review invitations. Optional promotional communications are separate. You may use an unsubscribe option where provided or contact us to stop optional marketing. This does not prevent necessary order, security or support messages.

How long information is kept

Retention depends on the purpose and type of record. Account information supports your account while it remains active. Transaction and correspondence records may be retained after an account closes where needed for accounting, legal duties, fraud prevention, warranty or dispute handling. Security logs, backups and optional preferences have different operational purposes and may follow different retention periods. We do not promise that every record is erased immediately when an account is deleted.

When assessing a deletion request or retention period, we consider whether a transaction or dispute remains open, the applicable legal record-keeping period, the information’s sensitivity and whether it is still needed for the original purpose. Contact us for information about the records relevant to your request.

Your rights and requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or object to particular processing. Other applicable rights may include opting out of certain advertising or data-sharing practices or appealing a privacy decision. We will explain applicable exceptions and respond within the required timeframe. You may also have the right to complain to the relevant privacy regulator.

To make a request, email support@prestigewatch.com and explain what you need. We may ask for proportionate verification to protect your information; we will not ask for your password or full card details. An authorized representative may contact us with evidence of authority where applicable.

International processing and security

Providers involved in your order or the website may process information in countries outside your own. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements apply to that processing. Contact us to ask about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your information.

We use access controls and technical safeguards appropriate to the service, but no website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. The service is intended for customers with legal capacity to purchase and is not directed at children; let us know if a child has supplied personal information.

Updates

We may update this notice to reflect changes in services, information practices or legal requirements. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required. Updated wording does not remove rights relating to earlier processing.
